There is a lot of fear right now about avoiding coronavirus infection. We’re with you and are upgrading our own cleaning and handling processes as well. Here are some suggestions that we’ve learned on how to better protect yourself:
- Wash your hands often.
- Don’t get together with others that are sick or have sick in their homes or that have been in the last 14 days.
- Wear a minimum of an N95 mask in public.
- Wipe down hard surfaces (including floors) frequently with a sterilizing agent such as alcohol or other cleaners, but let them sit for about 20 seconds before drying.
- Maintain a minimum of 6 ft separation with others.
Now what not to do on an emotional level:
- Don’t let fear of the coronavirus overwhelm you. For almost everyone in the U.S.- we’re going to be just fine.
- Exercise! Exercising helps our bodies to be stronger fighting off infection and also releases endorphins which help us to relax, feel good and less stressed.
- Learn a new skill. There are musical instruments that are depressed, just sitting in the corner…sad. Make them happy by pumping out a few notes. Learn to paint, program on a computer, build something out of wood. Call three friends today and pay them a compliment. Use the time to improve. We’re not in a foxhole if get up and fight in positive ways.
- Smile. Just smile- you’ll instantly feel better.
Until we’re all back to normal, stay calm & safe, but also stay happy! If you have any suggestions for us on how we can improve our service to you- leave them in the comment box below.
